Description Kay works with textile inks to paint on to 100% cotton fabric. She uses bright colours and Pacific motifs and patterns. This work was spontaneously painted from her memories of snorkelling in the lagoon where she lived in Rarotonga. She also incorporated a Tangoroa figure to reinforce her strong connection with the Cook Islands. She has lived and worked there on family land with her partner who is a Cook Islander.
