Description Front cover; image and text. This cover comprises a colour studio photograph of Peter Posa and text. He is standing with his legs slightly bent at the knees. His upper body is leaning back and he appears to be playing the guitar. He has a wide smile. He is standing on a red 'L' shaped background which has pink to the right and left of it. In the bottom two thirds of the left side of the cover the title reads 'Dance with the Guitar Man'. It is mainly in yellow with black drop shadow, the two words 'with the' are in black. In the bottom right of the cover is the artist's name in white. In the top right of the cover is the Viking records logo and the record number. These are both in black. [AAF]
Description Back cover; text only. The back of the cover is white with all text printed in black. The title 'Dance with the Guitar Man' is in the top left of the cover in the same fonts as the front cover. The words 'Peter Posa' are underneath it, in the same font as was used on the front cover. To the right of the main title are the song title listings. They are formatted in four horizontal lines. They read; 'Side one'; 'Dance with the Guitar Man Wheels'; 'Side Two'; 'Si Signor Wooden Heart'. The two sides are divided by a thin black horizontal line. In the top right hand corner of the cover is the record number. In the middle and bottom third of the cover is a list of 'Recent releases from Viking records'. 25 releases are listed in artist, title, format, record number format. The whole list has been placed inside a box constructed of a thin black line. Running across the bottom of the cover starting from bottom left is the Viking records logo, followed by the words; 'Records company limited. This record is the subject of copyright'. [AAF]
There are glued down flaps at the top and bottom of the cover indicating it's method of construction. There also appears to be another glued piece on the right side of the cover. [AAF]
